About the role

Vassalboro Community School is seeking a school nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and timely with classroom teachers, parents, and office staff.
• Perform health screenings.
• Collect and maintain accurate health records.
• Maintain confidentiality for students, families, and staff.
• Assess, evaluate, and promote the health and well‑being of students.
• Assist with health care plans.
• Provide medical training to staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing
• State of Maine Registered Nurse License
• State of Maine CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education
