About the role
The Orange Unified School District seeks a highly qualified School Nurse to join our team. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive health services to students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to students and staff, including administering medications and performing health screenings.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement health programs and policies.
- Assist in emergency response situations and manage medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
Requirements
- A current California School Nurse Services Credential in Nursing.
- Valid California Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
- Experience in school nursing or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of pediatric health issues and school health laws.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Benefits

Pay
$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
