The School Nurse/District Health Coordinator provides direction toward the development of a school health program which assists each child in reaching his/her optimal physical potential.

Responsibilities
- Develops and implements a comprehensive school health program
- Collaborates with school staff to ensure health needs are met
- Provides guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding health-related issues
- Monitors student health records and reports
- Participates in professional development activities related to school health
- Assists in planning and implementing health education programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current Arizona School Nurse License
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of health promotion strategies
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving abilities
