Job Description

The primary location for this position is Piper Creek Elementary. The salary is per hour, and the shift type is full-time.

About the role

This role involves providing healthcare services to students and staff at Piper Creek Elementary. Duties include administering medications, performing health assessments, and managing student health records.

Responsibilities

• Administering prescribed medications to students as directed by a physician
• Performing routine health checks and screenings
• Managing and updating student health records
• Assisting in emergency medical situations as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff

Requirements

• A current Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois
• At least two years of experience in a school setting or related field
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of pediatric health care practices
