Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Communications, or a related field
- Strong public speaking, presentation, facilitation, or teaching skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation technology
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Hannibal, MO area
- Availability during school hours, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person Signs of Suicide® (SOS) presentations to middle and high school students
- Facilitate engaging discussions on youth mental health, suicide prevention, and help-seeking behaviors
- Build and maintain positive relationships with school administrators, counselors, educators, and students
- Ensure presentations are delivered in accordance with evidence-based program standards
- Complete required documentation, attendance records, surveys, and reporting in a timely manner
- Maintain electronic records and program data
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training opportunities
- Support community outreach events and other organizational initiatives as needed
- Promote CHADS Coalition programs and services when appropriate
