Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
- Two years of experience working with parents and children
- Able to develop and carry out a mental health appraisal including psycho/social/behavioral functioning and plan of remediation based on accepted, research-based educational/therapeutic practices
- Experience with various computer software programs and ability to use email
- Florida Department of Education Certification in social work or licensed clinical social worker or licensed mental health provider as defined in and governed by Chapter 491, F.S.
- OR Candidates with a Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling must become a “Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern” within 6 months of hire and must be supervised by a “Qualified Supervisor” and must obtain clinical licensure within three years of start date
