Full Time | Monday–Friday, 8:15am - 3:15pm with a 30 minute unpaid break | 32.5 hours per week

At PSI, you are part of the school community. You’ll have clear expectations, structured support, and consistent schedules in a school clinic setting with an independent role and school team collaboration. PSI support is available if clinical or workflow questions arise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic health support to students in the school setting
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with routine healthcare needs
  • Support communicable disease prevention and follow established school health protocols
  • Collaborate with school nurses, staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student care plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential student health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Follow medication protocols and school health procedures to ensure safe care for students

Requirements

  • Experience caring for children strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting students with Diabetes, Asthma, Allergies, or Seizures preferred
  • Knowledge of communicable disease prevention, medication protocols, and basic healthcare practices
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Strong collaboration and team-building skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills when working with students, families, and staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
