School Health Assistant / Medical Assistant - School Clinic - Royalview ES Willowick
Full Time | Monday–Friday, 8:15am - 3:15pm with a 30 minute unpaid break | 32.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Provide basic health support to students in the school setting
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with routine healthcare needs
- Support communicable disease prevention and follow established school health protocols
- Collaborate with school nurses, staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential student health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Follow medication protocols and school health procedures to ensure safe care for students
Requirements
- Experience caring for children strongly preferred
- Experience supporting students with Diabetes, Asthma, Allergies, or Seizures preferred
- Knowledge of communicable disease prevention, medication protocols, and basic healthcare practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Strong collaboration and team-building skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills when working with students, families, and staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
