Alpha is opening a new campus in Springfield, MA and requires a School Director to lead the launch and ensure consistent operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Launch Alpha's Springfield, MA campus: Ensure delivery of Alpha's three core promises to 100+ students from opening day with consistent operational excellence.
Facilitate live life-skills workshops for K-8 students: Lead one-hour sessions covering public speaking, growth mindset, and feedback skills. Execute Alpha's established playbook to help students master competencies overlooked by traditional schools in an engaging format.
Drive every student toward 100% goal achievement: Develop personalized motivational strategies for each student. Apply data-informed methods to address resistance and sustain engagement with the Alpha platform. Success is defined by every student reaching their objectives.
Develop Guides through coaching and uphold Alpha's performance standards: Leverage data to pinpoint gaps, provide clear feedback, and monitor progress. Make difficult personnel decisions when standards are not met and model the excellence expected across your campus.
Execute data-informed campus leadership: Review metrics spanning staff performance, operations, parent engagement, and school culture. Identify challenges, perform root cause analysis, engage stakeholders, implement measured interventions, and refine based on outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field. Master's preferred.
At least 7 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, business, or related field.
Direct experience building and managing teams of at least 15 people with full hiring and firing authority.
Deep knowledge of the Springfield, MA education landscape.
Experience working with youth ages 5 - 14.
Strong data analysis skills and experience using metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Benefits
Immediate availability. Compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
