About the role

Lead day-to-day training operations for an established truck driver training program, reporting to both a Regional Manager and the President. This position oversees the overall administration and long-term management of the program.

Responsibilities

• Lead a local team of instructors and staff
• Handle student admissions and lead calls
• Recruit and sell programs to students and company customers
• Schedule instructors, students, trucks, and CDL tests on daily, weekly, and monthly bases
• Outreach to students and funding agencies
• Manage attendance, testing, grading, and student files
• Invoice for services rendered and ensure prompt collection of tuition, fees, and charges
• Oversee profitable financial management of the business, including cash flow and revenue
• Monitor the overall quality of CDL programs offered
• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and students
• Maintain an honest, hard-working, and friendly work environment
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment and completion of necessary records and reports
• Assist with student job placement
• Manage CDL test site operations
• Handle general administrative responsibilities

Requirements

• Undergraduate or associate degree preferred
• 5+ years of successful management, sales, and administrative experience
• Understanding of workforce education
• Computer and business competence
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong values and work ethic
• Transportation industry experience or CDL helpful but not essential
