About the role

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive school counseling services to students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Develop and implement academic planning and career readiness programs
  • Support social-emotional learning initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal student service requirements

Requirements

  • A valid PA Educational Specialist Certificate in Elementary and Secondary School Counseling
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and student support skills
  • Previous school counseling experience preferred but not required

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
  • PA Standard Application
  • Valid PA Educational Specialist Certificate
  • Current Acts 34, 151, 168 and 114 clearances
  • Transcripts
  • Praxis test scores
  • Three letters of recommendation, dated within the last year
