School Counselor - K-8

Join a dynamic team dedicated to supporting students from kindergarten through eighth grade. This role involves providing academic guidance, counseling services, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement educational plans.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

$45,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
