School Counselor (Extended Substitute)
Description
Rush-Henrietta is seeking an extended substitute school counselor from September 1, 2026 to November 20, 2026.
About the role
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of early-childhood development, both academic and social-emotional, and the implementation of interventions that are matched to each child's needs. The successful candidate will be skilled at making strong connections with students, utilizing culturally responsive practices, and demonstrating an ability to coordinate school and community resources for students and families to support student well-being.
Qualifications
- New York State Certification as a School Counselor is required.
- Effective September 1, 2026
- Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27 is required.
Pay
Competitive, based on experience and graduate study, per the Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
