SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE HIRED ON A YEAR ONLY CONTRACT - CONTRACT RENEWAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL
Starting Date July 14, 2026
New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24th & 27th
Responsibilities
- Experience District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience up to 20 years
- Work Schedule 197 contracted work days
Requirements
- MA/MS from accredited college or university
- Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: 0-21 School Counselor
- Experience with Concurrent Enrollment Advising
- Experience as 504 Coordinator
- Experience with Social and Emotional Student Support
- Experience as Testing Coordinator

- The minimum starting pay is $67,374/year and the maximum salary is $84,831/year.
- Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).
