School Counselor

Location: Zebulon, NC Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Position Overview We are currently seeking a licensed School Counselor to support students' academic, social, personal, and career development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with students, families, teachers, and administrators to promote student success and post-secondary readiness. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling.Support academic planning, course selection, and career guidance.Assist with college applications, scholarships, financial aid, and post-secondary planning.Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators on student needs.Participate in IEP meetings when appropriate.Support school testing and student scheduling.Maintain accurate student records and documentation.Recommend interventions and resources to support student success. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in School Counseling or a related field meeting licensure requirements.Active North Carolina School Counselor License.Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.Completed required supervisory hours and school counseling internship.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Passion for student development and academic success.
