This position requires knowledge of minority cultures and heritage as well as knowledge of the local community and the various services available to the migrant and minority community.
- Understand and follow both oral and written instructions in an independent manner
- Read and write at a sufficient level for successful performance of required duties
- Effectively communicate in both oral and written form (fluency in foreign language helpful)
- Maintain routine records and prepare reports
- Plan and organize required activities according to stated policies and objectives
- Persuade and motivate individuals and groups
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of duties
Acts as a liaison between migrant program, minorities, schools, migrant and minority parents, and community services.
Employees in this classification receive limited supervision from a school site administrator within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures. This job classification is responsible for providing information and communication links with minority groups and must exercise initiative and possess communication skills in foreign languages.

Starting Salary:
$3,801.46 (monthly)
Number of Months:
10.5 (to begin August 5, 2026)
Number of Hours:
8 (daily working hours 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
