About the role

Ensure students are transported safely to and from school and other destinations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist students during transport and during loading and unloading
  • Properly secure students and/or equipment
  • Inform students of bus safety requirements
  • Monitor student behavior for the purpose of diffusing situations and/or preventing distraction to the driver or injury to students
  • Assist in the evacuation of students from the bus during emergencies
  • Attend all safety meetings as required
  • Promote positive public relations
  • Work cooperatively with all students, system personnel, and parents
  • Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must sign a release form for criminal record check
  • Must complete and pass a physical examination
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Citizenship, residency, or work visa required

Pay

$14.58 per hour.
