About the Company
Huntington Coach began its operations in 1927 by transporting workers to local factories during World War II. In 1956, Huntington Coach changed owners and shifted into school transportation, serving Long Island communities with an inaugural fleet of 100 vehicles. Since then, Huntington has grown and expanded to become a leader in the industry, providing services to 12 school districts in Long Island with over 900 vehicles in its current fleet.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
- Liaise with clients and drivers to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems.
- Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues.
- Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested.
- Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
- Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
- Adhere to company work safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3 years of mechanic experience.
- High school diploma.
Pay
$35 - $40 per hour.
