School Bus Driver Training Program (with no CDL)

About the role

Become a school bus driver for Holcomb Bus! We offer comprehensive training including classroom and behind-the-wheel sessions, covering all aspects of becoming a licensed school bus driver. Costs for materials and training are covered by us.

Responsibilities

• Earn your Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
• Drive school buses under the guidance of experienced drivers
• Work flexible hours: 2.5 hours in the morning (6 AM-9:30 AM) and 2.5 hours in the afternoon (1:00 PM-5 PM)
• Receive a base hourly wage of $28.00 per hour once you start driving, plus a sign-on bonus

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license in good standing for the past 3 years
• At least 21 years old
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
• Pass a background check from age 18 onwards
• Pass a DOT drug test
• Work 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Qualifications

• Must be able to respond appropriately to students' needs during routes
• Must be able to notify appropriate personnel of emergencies and safety issues

Pay

$28.00 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus, averaging approximately $700 per week before taxes

Schedule
