About the role

Krapf Bus is seeking School Bus Driver and Traveling Licensed Substitute Bus Driver positions for various schools in the Hampton, NJ area. This part‑time role offers a consistent schedule with steady income and paid training to obtain a Commercial Driver License.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license for at least one year
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, covering both AM and PM routes for Wantage and Green Township
• Willingness to obtain a CDL with S and P endorsements (paid training provided)
• No prior experience required – training to obtain CDL is provided

Pay

Limited‑time $2,500.00 sign‑on bonus for fully licensed school bus drivers who hold a valid CDL with both S and P endorsements; bonus available to new hires hired between September 15, 2026 and October 15, 2026 (subject to applicable taxes). Competitive base pay is also offered.

Schedule

Part‑time schedule: 20‑25 hours per week, guaranteed 4‑5 hours per day, Monday–Friday covering AM and PM routes for Wantage and Green Township. Position runs 9.5 months per year (approximately 38 weeks) with summer work available. Additional hours can be signed up for (sports, trips, extended/summer programs). If not working during the summer, you may apply for unemployment benefits.
