School Bus Driver

Role Overview: A School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities while ensuring their safety, behavior management, and a positive experience. Key Responsibilities Operate buses following safety laws and conduct pre- and post-trip inspections Transport students to designated locations and assist with boarding/disembarking, including students with special needs Enforce behavior policies, maintain order, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Keep accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidents Comply with transportation regulations Qualifications & Skills Proven or preferred experience in bus or commercial driving, especially with school buses Strong communication skills, including multilingual abilities Mechanical knowledge advantageous for vehicle inspections Experience working with children or in childcare settings is beneficial Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred Ability to document transportation activities effectively Benefits & Details: Includes medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid training, and other perks.
