Service Driver

About the role

Sterling KIA in Lafayette, LA is hiring a Service Porter to support the daily operations of the Service Department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle flow throughout the dealership
• Assist customers by retrieving vehicles for pickup
• Drive customer and company vehicles to and from designated locations as needed
• Stage customer vehicles for pickup
• Maintain organization of customer vehicles on dealership property
• Occasionally assist with customer shuttle services
• Pick up and deliver customer and company vehicles to designated locations safely and professionally
• Aid with parts pickups and deliveries within the local area
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of service and customer areas
• Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• At least 21 years old or at least three years of licensed driving experience
• Preferred ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
