School Bus Driver

Role Overview: We are seeking a responsible School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school and activities. The role requires strong driving skills, excellent communication, and a genuine interest in working with children. Key Responsibilities Operate school buses following traffic laws and safety regulationsTransport students to various locations, including schools and eventsEnsure passenger safety by enforcing behavior policies and maintaining orderConduct vehicle inspections for safety and cleanlinessCommunicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchersAssist students with boarding and disembarking, including those with special needsMaintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidentsFollow all transportation regulations and guidelines Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferredStrong communication skills suitable for interacting with children and staffMechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and minor troubleshootingExperience working with children or in childcare settingsMultilingual abilities or experience in senior care/teaching beneficialValid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferredAbility to write reports related to transportation activities
