About the Role
A School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate buses and commercial vehicles safely
- Conduct vehicle inspections
- Enforce behavior policies
- Assist students—including those with special needs
- Maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Follow all relevant regulations
Requirements
- Proven driving experience, preferably with school buses or paratransit
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Strong communication skills
- Mechanical knowledge
