School Bus Driver

Role Overview: We are seeking a responsible School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school and activities. The role involves adhering to safety protocols, effective behavior management, and ensuring a positive transportation experience. Key Responsibilities Safely operate school buses and commercial vehicles, following traffic laws and safety regulationsTransport students to designated locations including schools and eventsEnforce behavior policies and maintain order on the busConduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanlinessCommunicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchersAssist students with boarding and disembarking, including those with special needsMaintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidentsFollow all transportation-related regulations Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferredStrong communication skills, especially with children and staffMechanical knowledge for routine vehicle inspectionsExperience working with children or in childcare settingsMultilingual skills or experience in caregiving or teaching is advantageousValid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferredAbility to write reports and documentation related to transportation activities
