School Bus Driver

Role Overview: A responsible School Bus Driver ensures the safe transportation of students to and from school and activities, maintaining a positive and secure environment during routes. Key Responsibilities Safely operate buses following traffic laws and safety protocolsTransport students to designated locations, including schools and eventsEnforce behavior management policies and maintain order onboardConduct vehicle inspections for safety and cleanlinessCommunicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchersAssist students with boarding and disembarking, including those with special needsMaintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidentsAdhere to transportation regulations at all levels Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferredStrong communication skills, especially with children and parentsMechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance and troubleshootingExperience working with children or in childcare settingsMultilingual abilities or experience in related fields is beneficialValid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferredAbility to write reports and documentation related to transportation activities Additional Information: This full-time role offers benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, paid training, and tuition reimbursement, with a focus on safety, communication, and student well-being.
