School Bus Driver

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated School Bus Driver responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and fostering a positive environment. Key Responsibilities Operate school buses and commercial vehicles following traffic laws and safety regulationsTransport students to designated locations, including schools and eventsEnforce behavior management policies and maintain order on the busConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and cleanlinessCommunicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchersAssist students, including those with special needs, during boarding and disembarkingMaintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidentsFollow all relevant transportation regulations Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferredStrong communication skills and ability to interact with children and staffMechanical knowledge advantageous for routine inspectionsExperience working with children or in childcare settingsMultilingual skills or experience in senior care or teaching beneficialValid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferredAbility to write reports related to transportation activities Additional Details: This is a full-time role offering benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid training, and tuition reimbursement.
