School Bus Driver

Role Overview: A dedicated School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities. The position requires strong driving skills, excellent communication, and a genuine interest in working with children. Key Responsibilities Operate school buses and commercial vehicles safely, following traffic laws and safety protocolsTransport students to designated locations, including schools and eventsEnforce behavior management policies and maintain order on the busPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and cleanlinessCommunicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchersAssist students during boarding and disembarking, including those with special needsMaintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidentsAdhere to transportation regulations and safety standards Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferredStrong communication skills; multilingual abilities advantageousMechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and minor troubleshootingExperience working with children or in childcare settingsValid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferredAbility to write reports related to transportation activities This full-time role offers benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, paid training, and tuition reimbursement, with an emphasis on safety, communication, and student well-being.
