School Bus Driver

Role Overview: A dedicated School Bus Driver responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, effective behavior management, and fostering a positive environment during routes. Key Responsibilities Operate school buses and commercial vehicles safely, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.Transport students to designated locations, including schools, activities, and events.Enforce behavior policies, maintain order, and ensure passenger safety.Conduct vehicle inspections for safety and cleanliness.Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchers.Assist students with boarding, disembarking, including those with special needs.Maintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidents.Follow all transportation-related regulations. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferred.Strong communication skills, including multilingual abilities.Mechanical knowledge for routine inspections and troubleshooting.Experience working with children or in childcare settings.Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.Ability to document transportation activities effectively.
