About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior analysis services to K-12 students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will design and implement behavior intervention plans, train school staff and families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with ASD and other developmental disabilities.
• Provide direct behavior analysis services, including functional communication training, discrete trial training, and naturalistic teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with school teams—teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers—to implement behavior intervention plans and ensure consistency across settings.
• Train school staff and families on behavior management strategies, data collection methods, and behavior intervention techniques, with ongoing support and supervision.
• Monitor students' progress and behavior data, making data-based decisions and adjustments to behavior intervention plans.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing behavior analysis expertise and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of behavior assessments, intervention plans, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and current licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.
• Previous experience working as a BCBA or behavior analyst in a school or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles, methods, and techniques, with a focus on ABA interventions for individuals with ASD and related disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers.
• Proficiency in assessment, data collection, and data analysis techniques.

Schedule

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Start date: ASAP for the 2026/2027 school year.
• Onsite in Lompoc, CA.

Pay

Starting at $56/hour.
