About the role
Pathways is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Therapist to provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents within the school setting. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students address emotional, behavioral, and substance use concerns while supporting their overall well-being and academic success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, and/or substance use concerns
- Provide family therapy and group therapy services as clinically appropriate
- Maintain an active caseload and deliver services in accordance with agency productivity standards
- Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes, including:
- Diagnostic Screening Assessments
- Health Assessments (Initial and Annual)
- Bio-Psychosocial Assessments (Initial and Annual)
- Treatment Plans
- Treatment/Service Plan Reviews
- Continuing Care Plans
- Termination Summaries
- Collaborate with school personnel, families, community partners, and treatment team members to support student success
- Participate in staff meetings, clinical staffing, case conferences, and consultations
- Maintain compliance with all Pathways policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a behavioral health or outpatient treatment setting preferred
- Experience providing services to children, adolescents, and families preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with computers, electronic health records, and other technology required to perform job duties
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Pay
- Associate Level License: $45,833 – $51,562 (LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT)
- Independent Level License: $54,166 – $60,937 (LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)

- School-based schedule with 10-month contract option available

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Licensed Master's level clinician or independently licensed clinician
- Psychiatric Certified Registered Nurse
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
- Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC)
Skills
- Psychiatric Mental Health Accreditation through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) preferred
