Supplemental Health Care is working with a school district in Wilmington, Delaware to hire School Physical Therapists. Specialties include Physical Therapy, with a focus on School-Based roles. The position offers a 4-week contract with a $3,000 assignment bonus, paid at $40.50 - $43.60 per hour. Shifts are 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a total of 26 hours per week.
Job Description
Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results. Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services. Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals. Work collaboratively and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians. May be asked to travel between school locations and supervise assistants.
Requirements
- $40.50 - $43.60 per hour
- 4-week contracts
- $3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply)
- Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Delaware Physical Therapist License
- American Heart Association BLS certification
