School-Based Therapist/Outpatient Therapist

About the role

This candidate will provide services 2 days a week in the Rich Hill School District, and 3 days a week in area clinics. Services are provided Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral health and/or substance use assessments, diagnoses, and individualized treatment planning.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy in both school-based and outpatient settings.
  • Partner with school personnel, families, and community providers to coordinate care and support student and client success.
  • Provide consultation, psychoeducation, and behavioral health education to schools and community partners as needed.
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA, licensing, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary care team to provide coordinated, person-centered services.
  • Track required program outcomes, productivity, and quality measures.
  • Maintain professional licensure, complete required trainings, and uphold ethical and clinical standards.
  • Travel between assigned school locations and outpatient sites as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Must possess and maintain a current, active provisional clinical license in the state of Missouri (PLPC, LMSW, or PLMFT, as applicable).
  • Working knowledge of DSM-5 required.
  • Must obtain and maintain current CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Must obtain and maintain certification in an approved crisis intervention methodology (CPI, MANDT, or CALM) within 60 days of hire.
  • A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required.
