About the role
Provide individual/family therapy to students within the school setting and provide consultation and support to school staff regarding behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions to students in the school setting.
- Consult and support school staff on behavioral health issues.
- Coordinate with the school schedule for flexible time off.
- Work alongside community partners to offer meaningful, hands-on work.
Requirements
- Licensed Eligible/Licensed - Commensurate with education/experience.
- Master’s degree eligible to seek Licensure for Supervision in Virginia or LPC, LCSW, LMFT.
- Two years of experience working with youth.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Licensed in Virginia or equivalent license in another state.
- Experience working with youth.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with school staff and community partners.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and interventions.
