Responsibilities
- Providing individual therapy to children and adolescents (ages 5–17)
- Conducting clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Developing and managing individualized treatment plans
- Monitoring client progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborating with caregivers, school staff, and treatment team members
- Participating in the intake process and identifying appropriate services
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Providing crisis intervention and support when necessary
- Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Fully independent Arizona licensure:
- LPC
- LCSW
- LMFT
- CMHC
- Equivalent independent clinical license
- Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat behavioral health conditions
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- School-based, community-based, or outpatient therapy experience
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Expressive Arts Therapy
- Other evidence-based treatment approaches
- Experience developing treatment plans and conducting behavioral assessments
Qualifications
