School-Based Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or CMHC)

Responsibilities

  • Providing individual therapy to children and adolescents (ages 5–17)
  • Conducting clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Developing and managing individualized treatment plans
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborating with caregivers, school staff, and treatment team members
  • Participating in the intake process and identifying appropriate services
  • Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Providing crisis intervention and support when necessary
  • Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
  • Fully independent Arizona licensure:
    • LPC
    • LCSW
    • LMFT
    • CMHC
    • Equivalent independent clinical license
  • Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat behavioral health conditions
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • School-based, community-based, or outpatient therapy experience
  • Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as:
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Expressive Arts Therapy
    • Other evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Experience developing treatment plans and conducting behavioral assessments

Qualifications
