Schedule

Monday–Friday, school hours (typically 7-hour days) during the 2026–2027 school year

PSI partners directly with schools to fill active, approved positions. You will know assignment details before accepting placement whenever possible. At PSI, you are supported clinically, professionally, and personally throughout your assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy (individual and group)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support MTSS/RTI initiatives as appropriate

You’ll support students’ speech, language, and communication development while helping schools create environments where students can succeed academically and socially. Opportunities include exposure to a variety of grade levels (PreK–12) and 1–2 building placements when possible.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state-specific SLP license
  • School-based experience preferred, but newer professionals encouraged to apply (mentorship available)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting student speech, language, and communication development
