Location: Toledo, Ohio and the surrounding suburbs

Schedule

Monday–Friday, school hours (typically 7-hour days) during the 2026–2027 school year

About the role

PSI partners directly with schools to fill active, approved positions. Assignment details are shared early in the process whenever possible. You will know specifics before accepting placement and receive ongoing clinical, professional, and personal support throughout your assignment.

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Exposure to a variety of grade levels (PreK–12 opportunities)
  • 1–2 building placement when possible
  • Collaborative teams including Psychologists, Counselors, Intervention Specialists, and Administration

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy (individual and group)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support MTSS / RTI initiatives as appropriate

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license (state-specific)
  • School-based experience preferred, but newer professionals encouraged to apply — mentorship available
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting student speech, language, and communication development
