School Based RBT: (West Oahu), Behavioral Health

About the role

Support children with autism to reach their fullest potential through 1:1 in-home and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. BAYADA will sponsor RBT training and provide ongoing supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients and follow the established treatment/behavior support plan to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures.
• Establish and maintain effective, supportive, and therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Respect the values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes of clients and families.
• Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist.
• Document interventions and progress toward goals accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collect behavior data as specified in the client behavior support plan.
• Review data and progress reports with the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist to strategize program improvements.
• Provide habilitation, training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and meet identified goals.
• Provide transportation related to the implementation of activities as directed by the treatment plan.
• Provide training and/or support to the client in interpersonal skills, personal relationships, and community living.
• Monitor health status and physical condition; report any changes or incidents to the office.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Eligible or pursuing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Pay

Starting pay rate: $30 – $35 per hour.
