School-Based Physical Therapist - $52 per hour

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Cahokia, Illinois to hire a School-Based Physical Therapist for a local contract assignment. The role involves providing therapy services to students, developing and implementing therapy programs, evaluating student needs, maintaining records, collaborating with school staff and guardians, and possibly traveling between sites or supervising assistants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
• Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
• Work collaboratively and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• May be asked to travel between school locations
• May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements

• Current Illinois Physical Therapist License
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required

Pay

• Hourly rate: $48.65 – $52.40 per hour
• $3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply; details from recruiter)
• Estimated weekly payment may include taxable wages and tax‑free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals
• Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 37.5 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined
