School Based Occupational Therpist - PRN
Location: Dayton, OH • School-based, W2 employment
About the Role
Flexible, part-time opportunity: 20 hours per month during the 2026/27 school year. Schedule aligns with school hours and grade-level needs (PreK–12). Typical caseload is discussed before submission; 1–2 building placements when possible. Collaborative teams include Teachers, Intervention Specialists, Counselors, and Administration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct OT services (individual and group)
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students’ participation in academic, social, and daily living activities
- Contribute to MTSS / RTI initiatives as appropriate
Requirements
- Master’s or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state-specific Occupational Therapist license
- School-based experience preferred; newer professionals encouraged to apply—mentorship available
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and functional skill development
