School Based Occupational Therpist - 7 hrs/wk
Location: Dayton, OH • 7 hours per week • School-year contract (26/27) • W2 employment
About the Role
PSI partners directly with schools to fill active, approved positions. Assignment details—including typical caseload, grade levels (PreK–12), and 1–2 building placements—are shared early in the process whenever possible. You’ll join collaborative teams of teachers, intervention specialists, counselors, and administrators.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct OT services (individual and group)
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students’ participation in academic, social, and daily living activities
- Contribute to MTSS / RTI initiatives as appropriate
Requirements
- Master’s or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (state-specific)
- School-based experience preferred; newer professionals encouraged to apply—mentorship available
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and functional skill development
