School Based Occupational Therapist

Junction of Function is seeking Occupational Therapists who are committed to helping students develop the skills necessary to participate successfully in their educational environment. Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and clinical observations.
• Identify student strengths, needs, and barriers to educational participation.
• Develop individualized intervention plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct and indirect OT services.
• Address fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-help, and functional school participation skills.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary evaluations.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, school psychologists, SLPs, and special education teams.
• Recommend accommodations, modifications, classroom supports, and assistive strategies.
• Complete evaluations, reports, progress notes, and service documentation accurately and on time.
• Provide consultation and guidance to educational staff and families.
• Support students in developing independence and skills for academic success.

Qualifications

• Able to pass Background Check.
• Current Liability Insurance.
• NCBOT (North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy) License.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
