About the role
Our school based case manager provides mental health services to children and adolescents as a part of a community-based treatment team located within 1-2 schools. The position provides an opportunity for rewarding work with families in need of mental health support, consultation with dedicated colleagues, and many growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Case management, including an assessment of the needs of the child/adolescent and family
- Collaborating with school staff and supporting the needs of students within a school atmosphere
- Active collaboration with community providers and services
- Using therapeutic skills
- Consultation with medication providers, clinical staff
- Developing treatment plans utilizing an electronic medical record
- Supporting Summer Camps during the summer months
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or education/counseling from an accredited college or university.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile with liability insurance in the amount required by agency policy.
