About the role
Responsible for providing therapeutic support in schools to students experiencing behavioral challenges. Works closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Document all sessions and interventions in accordance with school policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic setting preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavior intervention
