School Based BCBA Clinical Supervisor-Westchester

Responsibilities

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Assistant Directors, Directors, and VP of the company to determine and delegate short-term and long-term clinical improvement initiatives.
  • Provide mentoring, training, and competency assessments as necessary to supervisees.
  • Oversee Behavior Consultants and Behavior Specialists, including managing caseloads, training, and mentoring of school district procedures as well as Family of Kidz protocols and billing procedures.
  • Aid consultants in FBA/BIP data collection and process, review FBA/BIP reports, and provide feedback and guidance as necessary.
  • Assist in developing and presenting professional development in district and community settings as needed.
  • Ensure proper data collection and review progress reports and annual review reports for supervisees.
  • Communicate effectively with service coordinators and assist in delivering effective and ongoing communication with districts.
  • Collaborate with Assistant Directors in the development and implementation of internal trainings for continuing education, compliance, and professional growth.
  • Support the professional growth of employees through structured feedback, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary action.
  • Maintain a caseload of direct and/or indirect services to students and families of 21-28 hours per week.
  • Conduct FBA and create BIPs as needed.
  • Attend CSE meetings, provide coverage for staff absences, and participate in collaborative team meetings with clinical providers, clinicians, and paraprofessionals.
  • Ensure timely, accurate submission of session notes and records related to service provision and clinical integrity.
  • Supervise NYS Graduate Permit and BCBA Candidates as needed and maintain appropriate documentation.

Requirements

  • NYS Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services, or related field
  • BCBA Certification and/or LBA
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a school-based consultation setting, preferably with children and their families
  • Bilingual is a plus
