School-Based ABA Therapist/RBT

About the role

The School Consultation Team at Interactive Kids supports students directly within public school classrooms across South Jersey. The role involves providing 1:1 behavioral support, implementing individualized behavior plans and ABA strategies, and collaborating closely with BCBA, teachers, Child Study Teams, paraprofessionals, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioral support throughout the school day
• Implement individualized behavior plans and ABA strategies
• Support students with communication, emotional regulation, transitions, classroom participation, and social interactions
• Collect daily behavior and skill-acquisition data
• Collaborate closely with BCBA, teachers, Child Study Teams, paraprofessionals, and families
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and ongoing supervision
• Provide 2 afterschool sessions per week in home or community settings

Qualifications

• RBT certification or willingness to work toward certification
• Strong hands-on ABA experience
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly
• Staying calm and professional in busy environments
• Effective communication skills with both students and adults
• Teamwork and collaboration skills

Schedule

This role is full-time (day hours), plus 2 afterschool (evening) cases per week.

Starting Pay Rates

• RBT - $23/hour
• ABA Therapist (non-certified) - $20/hour
