School Age Teacher

What You’ll Do

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Use Cadence-required systems and communication tools for family, coworker, and leadership interactions.
• Maintain a safe and well-supervised classroom.
• Accurately document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors.
• Follow Cadence Education policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in required trainings and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Education and Experience:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6-12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Credentials and Licensing:
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers.
• Must obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.

Scheduling Requirements

• Flexibility is essential.
• Schedules may change based on enrollment, staffing ratios, and operational needs.
• Daily end times may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
