About the role

The Site Director is the heart of a Healthy Kids Programs location. You'll lead the daily operations of the site by creating a safe, engaging program that children love and families trust. You'll support and coach your team, build strong relationships with families and school partners, and ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements.

What Success Looks Like

  • Staffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids
  • Compliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day
  • Inventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting. 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience. Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus. Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required.
  • Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment. Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.
