University of Surrey International Excellence Award

A merit-based partial scholarship designed to reward high-achieving international postgraduate students enrolling in full-time Master’s degree programs at the University of Surrey.

Requirements

• Offer Required First: You must hold a formal offer of admission and a valid University Student ID before filling out the scholarship form.
• Apply Before CAS: Applications must be submitted before your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is issued.
• Excluded Programs: Not applicable for MBA, distance learning, MSc AI (Conversion), MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, MSc Biotechnology, or MSc Human Nutrition & Food Science.

Out-of-Pocket Expenses

• Partial Support Only: Covers £5,000 off your tuition fees. You are responsible for paying the remaining tuition balance out-of-pocket.
• Living Costs & Visa: Living expenses (~£1,000–£1,300/month), UK Student Visa fees (£490), and the mandatory UK NHS Health Surcharge (~£776/year) are not covered.
