About the role
The internship with the Center for Scholarly Communication at Stony Brook University Libraries offers hands-on experience supporting various initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Aiding in program planning and coordination, particularly for the annual Open Access Symposium
- Assisting with instructional and outreach sessions
- Building collections and inputting content into the Academic Commons
- Discovering and sharing information about new resources and scholarly communication initiatives on the library blog
- Participating in a variety of other library activities, including reference services and departmental meetings
