Scheduling Supervisor

Knowledge and Experience

5 + years dispatch experience in transportation required
5 + years of operational risk experience
3 + years supervisory experience required
Union environment experience preferred
Knowledge of adept, DCS, and streets preferred

Key Accountabilities

• Aid dispatch in ensuring all Catch and Demand routes are covered
• Work with the client on must fills and other coverage
• Verify driver reported mileage against system generated
• Verify and compute actual completed billable hours against estimated hours
• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly driver schedules
• Review schedules for efficiency and compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
• Assist with schedule changes and adjustments
• Cookordinate operator assignments for special events requested by the client
• Maintain scheduling records and documentation
• Organize scheduling files and historical records
• Cookordinate operator coverage for planned absences
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Long periods (potentially exceeding 8 hours per day) of walking, standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, twisting, squatting, handling materials, repetitive hand-wrist motions, and traversing uneven surfaces
• Exposure to both extreme heat and cold
• Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and airborne particles
